Series by George Boyer

Note on Titles

George maintained that the title of the paper indicated from what “level” the teaching was coming from, making it harder to neatly categorise. He moved from the everyday, to the celestial, soul, spiritual, cosmic and back again.

Note on Language

This teaching was written mostly for small private groups, not for formal publication, and the style may reflect that.

It was written from the late 1960’s, through the 1970’s onwards, and therefore the use of “he” to mean both sexes is prevalent.

Joy Of Living Series

This series is the foundation of George’s teaching material. It was sent out by post each month, for a total of three years. The advice is to read Joy of Living in sequence as it was sent out, and lay all assumptions to one side. Try not to skip ahead, as the teaching builds in depth, and although

George is no longer with us in body, it will become obvious how we can each independently progress to a greater union with our Self, and therefore with Universal Mind. George never asked for any money, to keep the teaching free of commerce; it’s like “selling water by the riverside” he said; neither did he ever ask anyone to join any sort of organisation.

Joyful Living - 12 Lessons

In these lessons we hope to give you a sure foundation of a way of living that will help you to see life as it really is and thereby opening up the possibility of steering clear of the things that lead to unhappiness, disappointment and non-fulfilment

Talks to Novices - 12 Talks

There is much beauty, harmony and joy that has already been expressed into this world and it has been experienced and enjoyed, but as effects always fade away and other effects are continually coming into being, it is expedient to allow one’s self to maintain an attitude wherein the “new” can be fulfilled. Life from the Source is always on the move and the effects of this can always be witnessed if we remain awake to this truth. It is because the effects are continually changing that to get bogged down with fixed opinions, theories and philosophies, or religions, is to remain asleep – or even dead.

Towards Initiation - 12 Lessons

The main object of these lessons is to present certain guidelines for the student to follow. Many are the pitfalls that lie before him as he journeys into the realms of the mind. Therefore, in presenting what is to follow we try to avoid dictating how one should use this knowledge. We point out the ways that the student should allow the subject matter to take its own form within himself. In other words, he should try to feel that this knowledge is actually coming forth from within his own mind.

Contact is always welcome for clarification and discussion, but George is presented “in his own words”
