Being a human being is something rather wonderful because in this state it means being involved in so many interesting things and as there are so many beautiful forms already established on the face of this Earth – the real problems are divisions which exist between human beings themselves. For example – the mountains and seas, the animals and birds, the trees and flowers and the beauty of the human form are already concrete facts and one has no need to worry about their stability in relation to human conditions. If, therefore, it were possible to deal with the things which give way to disease, wars and suffering – this could surely be a heaven. However, from our observations this thing seems to be the most difficult situation. What one refers to as “human relations” seems to be lacking mostly by those who preach its need. The fact is that the problem of “human relations” can be effectively dealt with only by those who understand where the answer to this situation lies. In every cause the problem is an individual one and there can really be no harmony or real answers as long as one seeks for his causes in external conditions. Social welfare services, psychiatric clinics, freedom from hunger campaigns and such like systems which are based upon hypotheses gathered from observing the working out of effects taking place from some assumed cause cannot and never will provide any genuine answers to the real nature of man – neither will they banish any of these conditions. On the other hand – when one learns to understand the nature of the Cause of Things and That great Organism to which we all belong the knowledge of correcting human mistakes becomes quite simple. Whilst many admit to following a certain philosophy or religion in their life and believe in the doctrines of these systems they never seem to come down to facing the real issues when it directly affects themselves. As long as troubles seem to be somebody elses or was caused by somebody or something “out there” people remain content. As soon as the “system” to which people belong demands some action or work from them they react vehemently. This is basically the situation of every human being no matter what level of “intelligence” he finds himself in. There are those who are versed in the most advanced philosophical and religious teachings – yet as to using the knowledge effectively, or at all, they are at a loss and there are those who profess nothing and know nothing. Really they are all in the same condition. The blame, or most of it, is laid upon the human mind, emotions or body.

If we liken this physical body to the small end of a giant telescope, and because of its narrow margin, we can see that as long as we look down through it we see the large things diminished to a point lacking in detail whilst if we look up from the small end we observe the same things in greater detail. Whilst these things exist

in their proper size all the time it becomes a matter of how we are looking at them. Thus, if that which is true of the Cosmos is already established we cannot do anything about it whichever way we look. The only thing left for us to do is to discover how we can enjoy more of that which IS and how to share in the WHOLENESS which is a permanent reality.

Being as it is that we are all permanent living beings within a vast realm of continual experiences it behoves us to be in position to share the nature of the Whole. Since we have evidence of our continual process of manifested experiences, of whatever sort, it seems quite odd that many, through lack of cooperation, continue to create conditions which they learn to hate. This is the state of self-wilfulness – a condition wherein a person makes a demand upon his environment for selfish ends rather than to seek cooperation that the right conditions might come about. The situation is wherein one desires that the world conforms to his own observations instead of letting it conform to the rightful conditions for the mass.

There have been many tomes written about “the rounds and the races”, etc. and doctrines put forth about man’s progress through the mineral world to his present state and much confusion exists regarding the correct understanding of these things. It is useless trying to imagine that you were once a diamond, for example, a daisy or a rabbit. First, take a look at this globe – is it not like a many splendoured garment veiling an interior? YOU are not the seas, flowers, birds and animals in one sense yet you are hiding behind them seemingly as a WHOLE. Because you, as an individual, are really the WHOLE MAN-GOD; at Source you have NOT traversed, as an individual, through four kingdoms – but rather have manifested through these particular veils or garments as a whole because that which we experience through the “senses” is merely the “activity field” of the Complete Intelligent Organism which we really are in toto. Unless we can view the process from the understanding of WHOLENESS we miss out and fail to understand the truth regarding our Universe. These four kingdoms do not exist as boundaries or grades of intelligence or even form. When you look into the heart of a diamond, daisy or rabbit you behold the WHOLE down there – not a little soul “doing his thing”. As we have said – all form is likened to the surface of one level of activity only – therefore that life which ensouls the diamond, daisy or rabbit – and man is complete and whole at that point in time and space. We have not, nor can we have, the whole sleeping in the mineral, dreaming in the vegetable and so on – we have the FULLNESS of the Godhead operating at all times in every place. When one comes to God realisation he quickly sees that he has NEVER been an isolated unit but the Whole all the time and this state existed before he realised it therefore it is only a matter of human speculation and a misunderstanding that one has to evolve or graduate from some place to some place. This is the time and space factor again. We have to forget our own idea of isolation to realise the Whole. One has to

forget “grades”, “stages” and “levels” to rightly understand the Whole because it is man that sets these limitations upon himself. If you look at what Paul says in Colossians, chapter two, you will see that he also taught this truth.

Regarding “experiences” – we, as humans, speak of “spiritual” experiences; “psychic”, “mystical”, and “religious” experiences etc., but really, as we have said before, all life is a continuity of experiences which is actually the activity of the Self. There is never anything “special” about these and it all depends upon how we live and act what kinds of experiences we have. When one labels his kinds of experiences he does not understand the true nature of the universe because all experiences are merely formulated in the light energy field – except, of course, the ultimate experience of the self across the “abyss”.

Experiences had whilst under the influence of so-called “soma drinks” and other drugs are only effects gained by dis-orientating the sense frequencies received via the physical body. As for experiencing “God” – well – since He is really everywhere – whatever we do we can never be away from Him.

Here we will deal with a few “illusions about illusions”.

The world of form is not illusion as such because it is the manifestation of the activity of God. The illusion then is man’s conception of it. This conception consists of his, man’s, theories regarding the nature, properties and the laws operating within this field of manifestation or activity. Such an illusion exists because of the limited scope of the bodily, physical, senses. Because of these false or very inadequate views which have become accepted as realities man dwells in a world or area of experience which is the result, or built up on, these suppositions and because such suppositions can be proved false in the presence of Reality or truth, or that which is found to be the true nature of life itself, man is said to dwell in the illusion. Such contributions to this illusion can be said to be the following conceptions:

That man is a soul limited within a physical body.

That the “animal nature” indulged in by humans is the nature of man.

That the causes of the troubles and diseases experienced by man are to be found in the world of manifestation or effects.

That the answer to ANY question raised by man is to be found by using the senses as a means of investigation.

The student occultist then might ask “What do I do then – use my E.S.P?” It can be seen that, from the aforesaid, that, as Extra Sensory Perception is precisely what it means, this method is also open to criticism because of its limitations. The same goes for investigation by so-called “astral projection” or, again, by using the

Mental vehicle. Once you can dispense with the use of any “vehicle” you are then entirely stripped down to the exercise of your true self faculties and it becomes YOU who knows and YOU who experiences all things and learn that “vehicles” are really modes of expression within your own consciousness wherein you enjoy and communicate within the realms of activity. You are also in position to know exactly what you want to know.

People say. “How can we get proof of what you say?”

If you are not a naturalist you cannot name the birds or flowers. You have to live the life of a naturalist to discern the joys and laws of nature. So it is with us. You have to live according to God’s ways before you can recognise and understand His world and this is really what we are asking you to do.

The true art of all initiates lies in putting “facts” to the test. One never immediately accepts or dismisses any source of knowledge – no matter how irelevant it might seem. He tries and tests for proofs – in fact he is more “scientific” and exacting than those calling themselves scientists. Truth can be proved but many facts can be shown to be truth because it is possible to “prove” anything by using sensual methods.

Because of the nature of the energy upholding forms this energy takes on the exact thought patterns of the thinker therefore this is no reliable source of investigation.
